American Thanksgiving

Last weekend my cousins from the US came to visit. It was their Thanksgiving so my mom decided to prepare a turkey dinner in their honor. I didn't know my mom could cook so well....we had delicious stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes and other veggies. Of course, the turkey was perfectly cooked and my aunt Carol made heavenly desserts - bread pudding and pecan pie - all from scratch. I hope to be able to cook as well one day and prepare a feast for my family and friends. My cousins had to go back on Sunday, and though we were sad to say good bye, my mom said that we would visit them over March break so we are looking forward to that. In the mean time, we have Christmas!! Yay!! Even better, my dad is going to be here in 20 days! We can't wait to see him - he is the best dad in the world. My mom likes him too ;-)
